While other players were still betting, a certain player who was all in showed his cards. I’m wondering if this allowed. What do you think? I heard doing such will just distract other players who were still up for the betting round.

Acting out of turn is not allowed regardless of whether they are all in or not. This influences action and disrupts the natural flow of the hand.
